Clomid – is widely prescribed and rather effective medication for infertility, the benefits of which can prove thousands of women around the world.

Clomid acts on estrogen receptors in the pituitary gland and ovaries. – herbal or dietary supplements, like blue cohosh, black cohosh, chaste berry, or DHEA may interact with Clomiphene Citrate.

– prasterone may also have an interaction with Clomiphene Citrate (Generic Clomid).

Clomid and alcohol

Alcohol does not go well with any medication, and Clomid is no exception. Despite the maximum safety of the drug, ethanol contained in alcohol can lead to tangible side effects, while reducing the effectiveness of the drug.

Alcohol poisoning can be a serious and potentially fatal result of excessive consumption of large amounts of alcohol. A healthy individual’s liver metabolizes alcohol at the rate of one ounce or one standard unit (one beer or one glass of wine) in roughly ninety minutes. Alcohol poisoning occurs when the liver can no longer metabolize alcohol faster than it is being consumed and becomes overwhelmed. Clomid without alcohol does not harm the liver, but in this combination, the negative effect is enhanced. When drinking alcohol, the liver produces many more enzymes to deal with the harmful effects of poison. But these enzymes fight not only with alcohol but also with the drugs received in the body, making them practically useless.

A large amount of alcohol consumed leads to serious poisoning and enhances not only the symptoms of poisoning but also side effects from the drug, such as vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness. At its most severe state, alcohol poisoning can be identified when the intoxicated individual shows symptoms of pale skin or clammy skin, arrhythmia, slow breathing, and in some cases seizures or violent fits.

– Alcohol prevents your brain from responding correctly to Clomid. As you know, alcohol is a depressant that causes your brain to malfunction. And this means that the production of the necessary hormones will be disrupted even in spite of the action of Clomid.

– Clomid is an effective cure for infertility. Many women take the drug to get pregnant. However, alcohol when taking Clomid can lead to the conception of a fetus with serious malformations. Before taking the drug, you should study its effect on the female body. Treating female infertility with female Clomid (Clomiphene).

– Alcohol leads to erectile dysfunction. If you get potency problems, taking Clomid will not have a positive effect.

– Alcohol is the cause of the formation of excess abdominal fat, obesity of the liver, and other internal organs, which becomes a problem with the existence of infertility. In this case, the effectiveness of Clomid is significantly reduced.

– Excessive alcohol consumption can affect the optic nerve and cause its degeneration, which will worsen our perception of colors and shapes, making them less bright and more blurry. Thus, the victim may even have difficulty recognizing faces.

Alcohol consumption also causes changes that degrade the number of nutrients and the amount of oxygen received by the optic nerve. A decrease in the level of B vitamins, especially B1 (thiamine) and B12 (cyanocobalamin), can seriously damage our eyesight. The combination of the toxic effects of alcohol with low levels of vitamins can cause so-called toxic optic neuropathy. Clomid has a similar side effect, and when combined with alcohol, it has a pretty serious negative effect on your eyesight.

So, in addition to the negative effect of alcohol on the body, you can reduce the effectiveness of the drug taken to eliminate fertility problems or to achieve positive dynamics of muscle gain.
